» Motorcycle Accessories «

Saddlebags - To carry your gear. leather and nylon and leather-like. Styles for every bike. There are also bags for your sissy bar and your tools. My latest favorite is a tank bag - "Cortech" Mini Tank Bag. It stays on the tank with magnets. You can find these in motorcycle stores to fit your motorcycle.

Windshield - Bikers like these for long trips and in cool weather. In the summer they will help keep the bugs off of your face! They come in different sizes and shades.

Chrome - Bright shiny chrome for every part of your motorcycle.

New Seat - For your own unique style or comfort. If you need help to get your feet on the ground look for a narrow style. If you have a hard seat, then look for an "Airhawk" cushion. It's not made with gel but made of rubber with a nylon cover and has air pockets. Much more comfy then gel. It cushions your bones - I swear by it. It just rests on top of your present motorcycle seat.

Sissy Bar - This holds the back rest for the passenger or as a place to store stuff you bought at the bike store!

Grips, Mirrors, Pedals, Lights - Matching sets, or just to replace the ones you banged up!

Speedometers - Tachometers - All kinds - I like the LED ones - some say they are hard to see at night. They look good on custom bikes.

Tool Kit - For as many tools as you plan to carry.

Riding Gear - The Basics

Jackets - Leather gives you a lot of protection from the weather and the road. Some bikers like Kevlar too - your choice. I also have denim for warmer weather and some windproof lightweight jackets. Rain jacket. I like something on my arms to protect from sun and wind, and possible road burn. I was knocked off a bicycle once and I'll never forget the pain of that road burn all over my arms and legs.

Chaps, Jeans, Leather Pants - and more.

Boots - Riding boots are the best; best traction, best looks. There are Riding Boots and there are After Riding Boots!

Helmets - Full-face, half - protect that pretty skin.

I was recently asked about a good full-face helmet. Mine is an HJC-LT 12. The latest version is an HJC LT-20 - with Ultra Lightweight shell.

Gloves, Glasses, Wallets - Something for everyone.

First Aid Kit - Sunscreen very important!
